First of all, thank you guys for your comments and emails after my last post.
I have been in such a production/marketing/branding mode lately; sometimes I worry that my output is too varied, and that's where I was coming from. As a marketable artist your artwork is *ideally* instantly recognizable; my challenge is that I love making all sorts of things with different subject matters and in different ways. I think if you look at all of my work in one place there is a thread that weaves it all together, but I worry that I need to reign it in a bit in order for things to make sense. And I don't want to do that! Grrrrrrrrr.
Any thoughts? Do you ever find yourself limiting your artistic expression for whatever the reason? For those of you who work as artists, do you find yourself fretting about your "brand"? I'd love to hear.
Well, here are some cute new images (back to our regular programming!) that I've been working on, I had greeting cards in mind but they'd make adorable kid's decor, too. Here are the first four of the series... I love these very much.
