Here are some new collages made with materials sent to me by Indian artist Mridula Divaker. I love all things from India, and I was thrilled with the papers that she chose. There's a lot of gold and silver sparkling in these pieces that you can't see in the scans; please squint and try to imagine.
I couldn't help but thinking about "It's A Small World" and Mary Blair and mid-century everything while I was making these. What is it about the diamond shape that is so "mid-century"?
These pieces make me very happy. Thank you, Mridula, for the wonderful papers!

I love the many patterns, colours and the designs you made. Great job.
