This piece is off to the "Celebrate the Shape of Life" Show at Stylus Salon in Seattle, benefitting City of Hope. The purpose of the exhibit is to celebrate women, raise awareness of women's cancers, and raise funds to support the innovative research and lifesaving treatment programs at City of Hope.
My Aunt Judy, a beautiful woman and artist, lost her life to ovarian cancer almost five years ago. Before she died, she wrote in a letter to me: "cherish every moment". Her words and her life are the inspiration for this piece.
