I'm really excited and a little nervous... I finally have a website!
I feel so official, I have a .com after my name.
After doing a lot of research I settled on a portfolio site (in lieu of having a custom site designed for me) so that I can easily and affordably change out images as much as I like. The design of the site is simple and clean, and it feels bright and airy to me. I'm happy to finally have a professional presence on the web.. and at the same time I want to make sure that it is a good representation of me and my work.
Would you take a stop by and let me know what you think? Does it look good? Is it easy to maneuver? I'd appreciate any feedback, please take a peek!
I thought I'd take the opportunity to post about Kathleen Wheeler's beautiful work. Kathleen is my friend and aunt (older by only a few years, so the label of "aunt" never seemed right) and as long as I've known her she's always been an artist. She just recently started to post her work online, much to everyone's delight, and the world of collage seems very suited for her.
Kathleen's work is very playful, and she's not afraid of color-- something I very much admire!
Isn't her work lovely? You can see more of it here.
